Lobão Cosenza, Figueiredo e Cavalcante (LCFC) has announced the arrival of Yasmin Cotait (pictured) as a new partner. With more than fifteen years’ experience in strategic litigation, arbitration, mediation and business negotiation, the lawyer joins the team with a focus on complex disputes in the areas of contracts, energy, infrastructure, real estate, regulatory and other civil law fronts.

A specialist in Civil Procedure from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/SP), Yasmin holds an LL.M. in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London and an Executive MBA in Business Management from FGV/SP.

She was recently appointed officer of the Mediation Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) for the 2025/2026 biennium.
