Failla Lima Advogados strengthens litigation and M&A practices

Failla Lima Advogados has announced the addition of two new partners: Mario Cosac (pictured left), leading the Litigation practice, and Tiago Bonatti Peres (pictured right), joining the M&A and Corporate Law team.

Mario Cosac brings 15 years of experience in prominent law firms such as Pinheiro Neto, Demarest, and Machado Meyer, with a strong background in business litigation and technology. He holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) and an LL.M. from Stanford Law School (USA). Mario has a distinguished track record in complex disputes involving civil liability, contracts, IT, and intellectual property.

Tiago Bonatti Peres adds over two decades of experience in corporate transactions and mergers and acquisitions. He was previously a partner at Cescon Barrieu Advogados and an international associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York. Consistently ranked by leading legal directories, Tiago is recognized for advising on sophisticated transactions involving domestic and international players in the energy, healthcare, technology, infrastructure, and financial sectors.
