Ciari Moreira Advogados has announced the arrival of Bertrand de Solere (pictured) as a new partner at the firm.
With more than 25 years’ experience, Bertrand is French-Brazilian and works advising European companies, especially French ones, which maintain or wish to start operations in Brazil. His addition to the team marks a strategic step towards strengthening the firm’s presence with international clients, with a focus on transnational businesses.
His practice includes advising on corporate, contractual, real estate and international tax law, with special emphasis on advising foreign investors, M&A transactions and regulatory compliance, from both a Brazilian and European perspective. Bertrand is also certified as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) by the CNIL, the French data protection authority, and has a solid track record in compliance and data protection issues, public tenders and business mediation.
Bertrand is also a French Foreign Trade Counselor (CCE), appointed by the French government, and acts as Secretary General of the Brazilian CCE committee, where he assists economic authorities and companies in analyzing and understanding economic relations between Brazil and France.
