Sanmahe brings together a female team of tax specialists

Sanmahe Advogados, a law firm with extensive acting in all areas of tax law, has just been inaugurated. The firm provides consultancy on all types of taxes, administrative and judicial litigation, estate and succession planning, and the structuring of national and international operations.

Located in Vila Olímpia, São Paulo, the firm is comprised of three partners with extensive experience in tax matters.

Maria Andréia dos Santos (pictured center), a partner in the litigation and tax consulting practice, has 28 years of experience in administrative and judicial proceedings in all spheres of tax administration and the Judiciary. She holds specializations in Procedural Law and Tax Law from PUC/SP and CEU Law School, respectively. Dos Santos defends the interests of both individuals and legal entities, with strong expertise in the restructuring of liabilities, structuring and negotiating tax transactions, and other models of tax liability equalization. She works closely with companies from various sectors in preparing their businesses and activities for the implementation of the tax reform on consumption. Maria dos Santos is a researcher at NEF/FGV SP and a member of the São Paulo Lawyers Institute (IAASP), where she is part of the Tax and Tax Transaction Committees.

Ana Lucia Marra (pictured left) is a partner in the tax consultancy area, with more than 28 years of experience assisting companies and individuals with national and international tax issues. She has strategic expertise in corporate operations, international taxation, and assessment of fiscal impacts on various sectors of the economy. With specializations in International Tax Law from IBDT and Tax Law from PUC-COGEAE/SP, Marra is a member of the Permanent Academic Committee of the Center for Excellence in Women Tax Lawyers (CEMT), an initiative by the Brazilian Association of Financial Law (ABDF) and Women of International Fiscal Association Network (WIN Brazil).

Cristiane Tamy Herrera (pictured right) is a partner in the tax litigation area, with 17 years of experience handling judicial and administrative cases across all spheres, representing both legal entities and individuals. She has solid experience in supporting tax liability restructuring, as well as in joining special and exceptional installment programs established across all levels of government. Herrera holds a specialization in Tax Law from PUC/SP and an MBA in Tax Management from FIPECAFI.
