Trench Rossi Watanabe advises IDB and FMO on an investment
Trench Rossi Watanabe advised Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest), the private sector arm of the IDB Group, and Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij voor Ontwikkelingslanden N.V. (FMO), a Dutch business development bank, on an investment made through the subscription of agribusiness receivables certificates (CRA) backed by Rural Product Financial Notes (CPR-F), with a total issue value of US$ 56 million.
The transaction aimed to finance soybean producers in the Cerrado region, linking credit to socio-environmental commitments established by the Responsible Commodities Facility (RCF) program, managed by SIM – Assessoria em Investimentos Sustentáveis, the program coordinator.
The issue was dual listed on Vienna MTF and B3, and was structured in accordance with the social, environmental, and integrity policies of IDB Invest and FMO.
Trench Rossi Watanabe was represented by partner Eduardo Herszkowicz (pictured) and associate Bruno Gontijo.
