Benedito Torres Advogados launches with a focus on Public Law
Benedito Torres Advogados begins its activities as a firm specializing in public law, with an emphasis on corporate criminal law, jury trials, administrative impropriety, and electoral law.
The firm is the result of the evolution of Benedito Torres & Felipe Carrijo Advocacia, active since 2019, and inaugurates a new phase with the integration of two former members of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Goiás: Benedito Torres Neto and Paulo Brondi. With four partners and operations in Goiás, Brasília, and throughout Brazil, the firm places technical rigor, integrity, and practical experience at the center of its strategy.
The arrival of Benedito Torres Neto reinforces the firm’s technical leadership. With 35 years dedicated to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Goiás, he served as Attorney General between 2011 and 2013 and 2017 and 2019, chaired the National Council of Attorneys General, and is the longest-serving president in the history of the Goiás Association of Public Prosecutors, elected for six terms. He worked in the districts of Joviânia, Cristalina, and Itaberaí, was a prosecutor-corregedor, and was a member of the College of Prosecutors. He led the “PGJ Presente” program and coordinated the construction of nine Public Prosecutor’s Office headquarters in the interior, an experience that strengthens his performance in governance, institutional relations, and procedural discipline in public law disputes.
Paulo Brondi also joins the firm. After 12 years with the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Goiás, he resigned from his position on September 1, 2025. Throughout his career, he participated in more than 300 jury trials and major operations. He has worked in Campos Belos, Jataí, and Rio Verde, with experience in jury trials, domestic violence, criminal enforcement, defense of public property, electoral law, and consumer protection. He is now beginning his career in private law, focusing on public law and higher courts.
