Trench Rossi Watanabe advises Planner on acquisition of Ciabrasf
Trench Rossi Watanabe advised Planner Corretora de Valores, an independent financial institution with diversified operations in Brazil, on the acquisition of Ciabrasf – Companhia Brasileira de Serviços Financeiros, a publicly traded company listed on B3.
The transaction was carried out through B100, Planner’s holding company, which signed a definitive agreement to acquire 96.93% of Ciabrasf’s share capital from Reag Capital Holding and Reag Alpha Fundo de Investimento.
With this deal, Planner significantly expands its operations in the fiduciary segment. Ciabrasf, through CBSF DTVM (formerly Reag DTVM), manages more than 700 investment funds, with approximately R$ 240 billion in assets under management (AUM), in addition to offering custody, bookkeeping, and securitization services.
