Souto Correa Advogados promotes six lawyers to its partnership during its year-end round, across the firm’s three offices. This strategic move strengthens key practice areas and reaffirms the firm’s commitment to grow with consistency while preserving the values.
In São Paulo, the new partners are Eduardo Mascarenhas in labor & employment; Erika Donin in dispute ersolution, infrastructure & projects, and energy; and João Gustavo Santiago and Martha Termignoni, both in Corporate and M&A. In Rio de Janeiro, Mariana Vicentini Taylor joins the partnership in intellectual property. In Porto Alegre, Valter Tremarin Júnior becomes a partner in tax & Customs. These six promotions represent a significant step in strengthening Souto Correa’s ability to deliver multidisciplinary and innovative solutions to its clients (the partners are pictured from left to right).
With extensive experience in complex corporate transactions, Martha Termignoni and João Gustavo Santiago strengthen the Corporate and M&A practice, bringing expertise in domestic and cross-border deals, corporate governance, and business structuring. Eduardo Mascarenhas adds recognized expertise in labor law, handling high-risk disputes and advising on liability management and internal policies. Erika Donin brings deep knowledge of commercial contracts and infrastructure projects, with a strong track record in the energy and construction sectors, as well as experience in high-stakes arbitration. Mariana Vicentini Taylor focuses her practice on intellectual property contracts, trademarks, advertising, copyright, and consulting, while advising clients on data protection, privacy matters, and compliance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD). Valter Tremarin Júnior, who has been with Souto Correa since its foundation, contributes solid experience in international trade taxation and customs law, advising companies on strategic issues for global operations.
