Stocche Forbes advises Copel GeT on Céu Azul acquisition

Stocche Forbes advised Copel Geração e Transmissão on the acquisition of all shares issued by Geração Céu Azul, previously held by Neoenergia, for the amount of BRL 1,050,536,361.00. Trench Rossi Watanabe advised the sellers.

Geração Céu Azul holds a 70% interest in the Consórcio Empreendedor Baixo Iguaçu (CEBI). The Transaction represents the completion of Copel GeT’s exercise of its right of first refusal, which will enable it to proceed with the Closing of the sale of the entirety of the CEBI consortium to Energo-Pro Brasil Holding.
