Viseu announces new partnerships and strengthens areas
Viseu announced the arrival of Patrícia Krug (pictured left) as Head of Legal Operations, strengthening the firm’s operational structure in a new stage of evolution.
With over 20 years of experience in the legal sector, Patrícia has built her career at the intersection of law, management, and technology, working directly on Legal Operations projects and highly complex legal operations.
Patrícia will be based between Recife and São Paulo to strengthen the strategic connection between the Northeast and São Paulo, expanding Viseu’s institutional presence in relevant markets.
The firm also announced that Luiz Fernando Amaral Halembeck (pictured right) will now serve as a non-exclusive senior consultant in the area of Mergers and Acquisitions – M&A. This partnership reinforces the firm’s strategy of expanding its practice in highly complex corporate and transactional operations, integrating recognized expertise in the market into its ecosystem.
With over 30 years of experience in M&A at leading Brazilian law firms and participation in more than 200 transactions in different sectors of the economy, Halembeck has built a recognized track record in share purchase and sale transactions, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, and strategic business growth and restructuring projects.
As part of this collaboration, Halembeck will work in M&A with a focus on structuring, negotiating, and implementing transactions, including the post-closing phase, interfacing with Viseu’s specialized areas, such as corporate, tax, labor, real estate, and strategic litigation. The goal is to strengthen an integrated and sophisticated approach to M&A, aligned with the firm’s positioning as a full-service provider focused on serving companies.
