VLK strengthens practices with new hire
VLK announced the arrival of Daniel Stivelberg (pictured) as a senior associate, focusing on Data Protection, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, and Digital Regulation. This strategic addition further consolidates the firm’s expansion in digital governance and strengthens its institutional presence in Brasilia, in line with VLK’s ongoing investment in technical excellence and high-impact consulting services for clients operating in regulated and unregulated sectors, with a special emphasis on the financial services and digital markets sector.
With a solid track record at the intersection of law, technology, and regulation, Daniel has worked at large companies such as Nubank, Zetta, and Brasscom, which has given him experience and expertise.
In the academic sphere, he served as a member of the Senior Council of AI Experts at ITS-Rio and as a Volunteer Researcher at CEDIS/IDP. He holds a master’s degree in Constitutional Law from IDP, with a dissertation on the regulatory framework applicable to Artificial Intelligence models used in credit risk management.
