BDE l Brigagão, Duque Estrada Advogados announced the promotion of Gabriel Bez-Batti (pictured left) and Pedro Grillo (pictured right) to partners.

Gabriel’s appointment strengthens the firm’s direct and international taxation practice, with outstanding performance in income tax, corporate reorganizations, tax accounting, transfer pricing, Pillar 2, and tax planning for multinational groups. Author of three books in the field and a professor in graduate courses, he combines relevant academic production with in-depth training in Brazil and abroad, adding technical depth and comparative insight to the more complex structures and operations advised by the firm.

Pedro’s appointment expands and consolidates the firm’s presence in highly complex administrative and judicial litigation and in strategic consulting on multiple indirect taxation issues. With advanced training in national and international taxation, teaching experience in LLM programs, and active participation in technical committees and specialized entities, he contributes to integrating sophisticated litigation defense, the construction of innovative theses, and qualified dialogue in the institutional debates that shape the tax environment.
