KLA welcomes back André Leme as compliance partner
KLA has brought back André Leme as a partner to lead its Compliance and Investigations practice in São Paulo. Leme previously worked at the firm between 2018 and 2019 and returns with a broader profile built across several São Paulo law firms over more than 15 years of practice in the field.
His work spans corporate investigations, risk management, integrity program implementation, and compliance due diligence in corporate transactions. He also represents companies in administrative liability proceedings and in negotiations with authorities in anti-corruption enforcement cases.
Leme holds a law degree from USP and a specialization in Fundamental Rights from the University of Coimbra (Portugal). He completed a Private International Law course at the Hague Academy of International Law and is currently enrolled in the Advanced Compliance Program at Fordham University in São Paulo. He is also certified by the Compliance and Ethics Academy of the SCCE (Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics).
On the academic side, Leme teaches at Faculdade LEC — Legal, Ethics and Compliance, where he leads courses on Healthcare Compliance and Anti-Corruption Compliance. In 2025, he was recognized as Professor of the Year in the Healthcare Compliance course.
