Cescon Barrieu and Lobo de Rizzo advise on CRI
Cescon Barrieu acted as legal counsel to Iguatemi Empresa de Shopping Centers, as debtor, in connection with the 608th issuance of Real Estate Receivables Certificates (CRI) by Opea Securitizadora, backed by real estate credits owed by Iguatemi, in the total amount of BRL535 million.
The offering was carried out through a public distribution under CVM 160, with intermediation by Banco Safra, XP Investimentos Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários and Banco Santander (Brasil), together forming the underwriting syndicate for the transaction.
The Cescon Barrieu team advising Iguatemi was led by partners Marcelo Moura (pictured left), Ronald Herscovici and Mariana Rodrigues Machado Borges, supported by associates André Brandão, Carolina Carvalho and Gustavo Ferreira da Silva.
Lobo de Rizzo represented the underwriters in the transaction, with the team composed of partners Maria Costa Neves Machado (pictured right) and Marília do Valle Farias, together with associates Maria Massi de Brito and Thomaz Matheus Pereira Magalhães.
