KLA advises Vixtra on $8.5m Series A round
KLA has advised Vixtra, a trade finance platform aimed at small and medium-sized importers, in a Series A funding round of approximately $8.5 million (around R$45 million). The round was led by Valor Capital, with participation from NXTP, Actyus, Headline, Collier Fund and Simma Fintech.
Founded in 2021, Vixtra has been building a position in the trade finance space, offering a combined solution of specialized credit, foreign exchange, supplier data, logistics and end-to-end visibility for import operations. The company’s model allows importers to use merchandise in transit as collateral, expanding access to working capital in a segment historically underserved by traditional financial institutions.
The proceeds raised will be used to expand credit lines and deepen the platform’s product offering, including the development of insurance solutions, currency hedging tools, and the incorporation of stablecoin-based infrastructure for foreign exchange and financing operations.
The transaction for KLA was coordinated by partner Francisco Alverne (pictured), of the firm’s Corporate and M&A team, with the participation of associates Rodrigo Candido and Letícia Grilo.
Vixtra also received advice from Gunderson Dettmer, with lawyers Adan C. Muller, Stefania Gomes Toschi and Carolina Zanolo working on the deal.
Carlos Gonçalves also acted on behalf of Vixtra in the transaction.
