Two law firms advise on the acquisition of Edify by Arco group

Lobo de Rizzo Advogados advised Companhia Brasileira de Educação e Sistemas de Ensino, part of the Arco Educação group, on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Edify Education and, indirectly, other companies within the Edify group. BMA advised the sellers.

The target companies specialize in bilingual education solutions for K-12 schools. Companhia Brasileira de Educação e Sistemas de Ensino acted as the buyer in the transaction. The value of the deal was not disclosed.

The Lobo de Rizzo Advogados team advising the buyer was led by partners Rodrigo Millar de Castro Guerra (pictured left) and George de Magalhães Carvalho, together with Isabela Salomon Reis and Isabella Silva e Oliveira.

Edify Education was represented by BMA Advogados, with a team that included partners Amir Bocayuva Cunha (pictured right), Luciana Marsal, Pedro Henrique Serqueira, Cibelle Linero and Hermano A. C. Notaroberto Barbosa.
