Abencys opens in Argentina
Spanish law firm Abencys Reestructuraciones, which specialises in insolvency and restructuring, has entered Argentina in association with local law firm De la Vega, Caldani, Linares Luque & Eviner.
The firm’s expansion into Argentina will allow it to advise its clients on business activities both in Spain and in the South American country, the Madrid-based firm said in a press release.
Luis Martín, partner and founder of Abencys, said, “This is an important milestone for Abencys as we put a footprint in the Americas and we hope to continue with the integration of more firms soon”.
The firm’s new office in Buenos Aires has a specialist team (pictured) focusing on civil law, contracts, administrative and tax laws, commercial and corporate, as well as M&As, and restructuring.
Abencys specialises in advising local and international clients operating in Spain on all kinds of issues, from restructuring to tender processes, and conflict resolution, among others, and its arrival in Argentina offers clients in that country and in the Spanish-speaking Americas a renowned firm of reference in the region in insolvencies and restructuring.
