Almeida Advogados adds partner in corporate
Almeida Advogados has named Alessandro Silva as a partner in its Corporate, Compliance and Business Development practice. The appointment adds a lawyer with more than three decades of experience, including 20 years as a Legal Director at large multinational companies across multiple industry sectors.
Alessandro‘s background spans corporate law, national and international contracts, compliance, M&A, strategic litigation and regulatory matters. Throughout his career, he has been particularly active in managing complex M&A transactions and corporate reorganisations, as well as overseeing risk management and compliance frameworks aligned with both domestic and cross-border regulatory requirements.
Alessandro holds a Master’s degree in Law from PUC-SP, an Executive MBA in Business Management from IBMEC, a specialisation in Private International Law from The Institute of International and Comparative Law in Texas, and a law degree from USP with a specialisation in Civil and Procedural Law.
His international profile includes a period as an expatriate in Mexico and coordination of legal projects across several countries in the Americas, including the United States, Canada, Argentina, Chile and Peru. He has also served as Head Legal LATAM and maintains active membership in committees at organisations such as AMCHAM, ANFAVEA and ABINEE.
