Altra Legal adds Luis Carísimo as new partner
The Paraguayan firm, Altra Legal, has announced the incorporation of Luis Carísimo (pictured), who will lead the firm’s Tax Law team.
Luis, who specialized in Tax Law at the University of Heidelberg in Germany, is a lawyer with an outstanding track record and solid experience in this area, as well as in advising companies in the field of corporate law.
His career includes key positions in international firms and leading private sector companies, with experience ranging from tax planning and corporate structuring to advising on international projects and regulatory compliance.
Luis was legal manager at EY (Ernst and Young) Paraguay, where he was in charge of the development of the legal services department, excelling in international tax planning and implementation of investment regimes. In addition, he worked as corporate legal advisor in one of the main business groups in Paraguay, where he led strategic projects related to corporate restructuring, international financing and regulatory compliance in tax and environmental matters.
In his new role at Altra Legal, Luis will be focused on strengthening strategic tax advice, helping clients address complex tax challenges and maximize business opportunities in a constantly evolving legal environment.
