Apex Logistics to acquire majority stake in Andes Integración Logística
Apex Logistics, one of the world’s leading logistics enterprises, has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Andes Integración Logística, a key logistics provider in South America. The transaction, for an undisclosed amount, was announced on November 25 and remains subject to customary closing conditions and approval from the relevant regulatory authorities.
Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos served as lead legal counsel to Apex Logistics. The acquisition is a significant expansion for Apex, establishing operations across seven Latin American countries: Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Bolivia.Apex Logistics’ business includes supply chain management, integrating air, sea, rail, truck, and other transportation options.
Once completed, the deal is expected to significantly enhance the combined companies’ value proposition in the Americas. Apex’s established charter and commercial flight networks between Asia and North America—paired with Andes’ regional expertise and local talent—aim to strengthen logistics capabilities and unlock new strategic opportunities throughout Latin America.
