Arbitration market leaders create MAMG Advogados, a dispute boutique
Fernando Marcondes, Rafael Francisco Alves, Sílvia Julio Bueno de Miranda and Alberto Sogayar have left L.O. Baptista Advogados and joined Paulo Macedo Garcia Neto and Mariana Capela Lombardi Moreto, former partners of Macedo Garcia Advogados, to create MAMG Advogados, a boutique law firm specialized in corporate dispute resolution.
With a special focus on arbitration and strategic litigation, the firm has already started its activities with a team of 40 professionals, including nine partners, as Mariana Cattel, Lígia Espolaor Veronese and Bruno Panarella, former leading partners of L.O. Baptista’s arbitration team, join the partnership. In addition to them, the entire team of lawyers and trainees from the former firm’s arbitration department and the entire team from Macedo Garcia Advogados have joined the firm.
The combined experience of the MAMG team exceeds hundreds of arbitrations, and the firm already has 40 ongoing cases and over R$ 15 billion in dispute. With the promise of being one of the leading dispute resolution firms in Brazil, the boutique is based on pillars such as ethics, excellence, humanism, respect for people, and innovation. Values that also guide the client profile, as well as the way of working and the treatment dedicated to the team.
