Areosa Advogados announces new partner
Areosa Advogados has announced that Guilherme Peres de Oliveira (pictured) has joined the firm’s strategic civil litigation and arbitration team.
With more than 18 years’ experience and extensive experience in complex claims before the Judiciary, arbitration chambers and administrative bodies, the new partner is another focal point in the handling of judicial and extrajudicial disputes for the firm’s clients.
Guilherme holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Civil Procedural Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP).
He has already held leadership positions in major law firms and held the positions of Deputy Attorney General and Attorney General at the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB-RJ). He is currently a lecturer in post-graduate courses, the author of books and specialized articles, and actively participates in academic boards and public tenders.
The new partner was also Deputy Secretary of the OAB-RJ Ethics Court and is a member of the Brazilian Institute of Procedural Law (IBDP) and the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).
