Areosa announces tax partner
Areosa Advogados has a new head: Wolmar Francisco Esteves (pictured). With more than 28 years’ experience in the segment, the tax expert — widely recognized by the legal market — arrives to reinforce the firm’s constant search for innovative and effective tax solutions.
In his professional career, Wolmar has held strategic positions in law firms, consultancies and audits specializing in Tax and Business Law. His portfolio includes leading cases, complex litigation processes involving federal, state and municipal taxation, and the preparation of procedural strategies for clients in sectors such as telecommunications, agribusiness, energy and the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, in addition to advisory work, tax planning and tax review.
The new partner has a law degree from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a postgraduate degree in Foreign Trade from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUC-PR), as well as in Agribusiness Law from the University Center of Maringá (Cesumar). He is also a member of the Tax Law and Constitutional Law Committees of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB-SP), the Institute of Contemporary Tax Law (IDTC) and the Legal Committee of the Brazilian Rural Society (SRB).
