Arias counsels FMO on $200m loan to BAC
Arias Law has counselled the Netherlands Development Bank, FMO, on the structuring of a $200 million USD loan to Banco de América Central (BAC).
The objective of the operation is to provide financing to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Guatemala, as well as to promote the adoption of better social and environmental practices, based on the norms and standards established by the International Finance Corporation (IFC/IFC) of the World Bank.
Arias’ team was led by partner Jorge Luis Arenales (pictured), with support from senior associate Cindy Arrivillaga and associate Andrés Marroquín.
