Arias counsels on refinancing of Ransa’s merger with TCF
Arias Law acted as local counsel to lenders Banco Santander and Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior (Bladex) in the financing and refinancing arising from the merger of Ransa with Transportes Centroamericanos del Futuro (TCF).
Through the transaction, Ransa merged its activities with those of TCF, a leading freight forwarder, effectively integrating its operations in Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
This transaction facilitated the financing and merger of Ransa and TCF, consolidating the Ransa Group’s position in the Latin American logistics industry.
