ARIFA counsels on $94m financing to CMM

Arias Fábrega & Fábrega has counselled Summit Ridge Capital Partners and Panorama Capital Partners on a $94m financing to Compagnie Maritime Monégasque (CMM), secured by three offshore supply vessels flagged in Panama.

The advisory involved maritime financing expertise to navigate the complexities of this deal so that the transaction adhered to all applicable regulations and best practices, and that the lenders’ security interest in the offshore platform supply vessels were properly perfected under Panamanian law.

This financing is a key step for CMM in restructuring its shareholder composition and expanding its fleet with innovative ethanol-fuelled platform supply vessels in Brazil. This move not only emphasises CMM’s commitment to sustainable maritime operations, but also positions the company as a leader in green initiatives within the industry.
