ARIFA welcomes Fernando Aued as new partner
Panamanian law firm Arias Fábrega & Fábrega has announced the addition of Fernando Aued (pictured) as a new partner to strengthen the Litigation and Regulatory practice areas.
Fernando is a litigator and arbitration specialist with more than 20 years of experience in the resolution of commercial, civil, administrative and maritime disputes, often with complex international components. He has advised on regulatory matters, mainly in the energy and telecommunications sectors. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a partner at Moreno & Asvat, and at Dentons Muñoz.
He holds a law degree from the Université Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille III and the Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua. He is a member of the Commission on Dispute Resolution and chairman of the Commission on Commercial Law and Commercial Practices of the ICC Panama Chapter. He is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Italian.
This appointment is part of ARIFA’s overall growth and expansion plans, following the addition earlier this year of a new partner and associates in its Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions and Banking, Finance & Capital Markets practice groups.
