B&E counsels Coca Cola on its appointment as wine distributor in Chile

Barros & Errázuriz has advised Coca-Cola Embonor S.A. in its appointment as distributor of Viña Santa Rita wines

 Barros & Errázuriz has counselled Coca Cola Embonor S.A. in its appointment, together with Embotelladora Andina S.A., as distributor of wines, sparkling wines and wine cocktails produced by Sociedad Anónima Viña Santa Rita. The distribution includes, among others, the following brands: 120, 3 Medallas, Amaranta, Bisquertt, Bodega Uno, Caballo Loco, Carmen, Casa Real, Gran 120, Medalla Real, Rita, Valdivieso.

This transaction was closed on 19 August, where Alcaíno Abogados acted as external advisor to Andina, while Claro y Cia. advised Viña Santa Rita.

The contract will have a renewable duration of five years, starting from the implementation date, agreed for 2 November 2021.

Embotelladora Andina indicated that the signing of this contract is part of the growth and diversification strategy of the company’s product portfolio initiated in 2018, through the entry into the marketing and distribution of alcoholic beverages.
