Baptista Luz acts for W3Haus on buyout by Stefanini

Brazilian law firm Baptista Luz has acted for W3Haus, a group of digital advertising agencies based in Rio Grande do Sul state, on its buyout by Stefanini, a Brazilian technology company.

The value of the negotiation has not been disclosed.

Created 20 years ago in Porto Alegre, W3Haus has operations in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba, and its clients include Ambev, Bauducco, O Boticário, HBO, Panvel, Petrobras, Santander, Tramontina, among others.

The company has about 200 employees.

The deal involves the acquisition of a series of digital ad agencies including HUIA, Brooke, CAPS, Hopo and NOW3. 

Baptista Luz’s team was led by partner Luis Felipe Baptista Luz, with associate Diogo Perroni Carvalho.

Stefanini was advised by BGR Adbogados.
