Baptista Luz advises on startup investments

Brazilian law firm Baptista Luz has advised on two sets of funding rounds for local startups.

Adriana Gomes of Baptista LuzThe law firm advised Nagro, a startup focused on providing credit to farmers, received an investment of 2.5 million reais ($479,816) in a seed round completed in May.

The law firm also advised Boomerang, a startup that offers rental of tools, domestic appliances and gym equipment, which received an investment of 3 million reais ($575,425) in a seed investment round.

In both cases, the law firm’s team comprised associate Adriana Gomes (pictured) and senior associate Sérgio Meirelles.
