Barros & Errázuriz advises Latamvet on Vet Bellavista deal
Chilean law firm Barros & Errázuriz Abogados advised Latamvet SpA on the acquisition of 50% of the shares of Vet Bellavista.
Latamvet, part of the largest veterinary group in Latin America, is dedicated to expanding a community of independent veterinary clinics in Chile through strategic partnerships with veterinarians and clinic owners — aiming to strengthen and grow each business together.
The transaction, valued at 10,250 UF (equivalent to USD 428,888.471), was completed on June 5.
Barros & Errázuriz provided comprehensive legal counsel, which included negotiating and drafting the share purchase agreement, establishing a pledge over the shares, granting powers of attorney, and amending the company’s bylaws. The firm also assisted in drafting a new shareholders’ agreement.
The deal was led by partner Lucas Marinovic (pictured), with support from senior associate Juan Sebastián Alonso and associate Manuela Ulloa. Santina Group acted as legal advisors to the sellers.
