Basham counsels Mubadala on RelyOn acquisition
Basham Ringe y Correa has counselled Mubadala Capital, with the support of co-counsel Kromann Reumert, on a transaction involving the acquisition of RelyOn Nutec.
The firm provided local legal assistance in conducting a legal due diligence exercise of RelyOn’s Mexican subsidiaries from a corporate, real estate, tax, environmental, regulatory, labour and social welfare, and litigation perspective, as well as participating in the negotiation of the related closing documentation. This transaction marks Mubadala’s growth from a global perspective and its participation in the Mexican market.
The closing of the transaction, following the granting of the relevant merger approvals, occurred on 29 July.
