Basham on acquisition of Kodak Alaris by Kingswood
Basham Ringe y Correa has acted as one of the legal advisors to Kodak Alaris Mexico in connection with the corporate and financial aspects of implementing Kingswood Capital Management’s acquisition of Kodak Alaris from the Pension Protection Fund.
As part of this transaction, the Pension Protection Fund, which had financed Kodak Alaris in 2020, required the company to guarantee the loan. The firm Creel García-Cuellar Aiza y Enriquez acted as local counsel to Kingswood Capital Management.
The advisory involved taking all necessary steps from a corporate and financial standpoint, including the cancellation and release of collateral, thus ensuring a smooth transition and proper compliance with all legal requirements.
