BCMS unites traditional areas of law with current demands
BCMS Advogados was founded by partners Thiago Bernardo da Silva (pictured right) and Lígia Carolina Costa Moreira (pictured left) , with the aim of combining professional qualifications with the growing demands of a constantly evolving market.
The firm’s mission is to provide strategic legal advice aimed at longterm partnerships. Lígia Moreira has worked for more than 15 years in the advisory and litigation areas of Family and Succession Law, advising clients on consensual and contentious issues, both in judicial and extrajudicial proceedings. Her expertise includes cases related to alimony, custody and cohabitation of minors, divorce and division of assets, recognition and dissolution of stable unions, as well as wills and succession planning.
Lígia has a degree in Law, a postgraduate degree in Family and Succession Law and a master’s degree in Comparative Civil Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/SP).
Thiago Bernardo has extensive experience in corporate litigation, having worked for over 15 years on highly complex cases and routine claims. He advises on real estate, banking, corporate, administrative, environmental, aviation, digital and intellectual property law, as well as mediating conflicts and
analyzing contracts.
Thiago has a law degree, a master’s degree in Political and Economic Law from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, a postgraduate degree in Civil Procedure from PUC/SP, and an MBA in Electronic Law from Escola Paulista de Direito.
