B&E represents Grupo Inder and Fynsa Energía in sale of Anpac

Barros y Errázuriz has represented Grupo Inder and Fondo de Inversión Fynsa Energía in the sale of 100% of Anpac’s shares to Grupo Cerro Dominador, owned by EIG Global Energy Partners, an institutional investor in the global energy sector and one of the world’s leading infrastructure investors.

This transaction closed on 23 June, with Milbank and Evans Group acting as advisors to the buyer, and BTG Pactual acting as financial advisor to Anpac.

The advice involved the entire competitive M&A process, from a non-binding stage through to the closing of the transaction.

Anpac SpA owns 11 run-of-river hydropower plants in the O’Higgins, El Maule, Bío Bío and La Araucanía regions. The company’s 110 MW portfolio includes operating plants and projects in various stages of construction and development, in the spot and stabilised price markets.

B&E’s team was led by partners Pablo Guerrero Valenzuela (pictured left) and Enrique Barros Vial (pictured right), assisted by associates Andrés Varela Echaurren, María José Bordalí Velasco and Sebastián Rosende Echavarri.
