Beccar Varela instructed on issuance by Compañía Argentina Financiera

Estudio Beccar Varela advised Compañía Argentina Financiera on a $250 million Class XIX notes issuance.

The transaction was carried out in two series under the company’s global program for short, medium and long-term notes for a value of up to $250 million.

Compañía Argentina Financiera was founded in 1982 and is based in Buenos Aires. It operates as a subsidiary of Banco de Galicia & Buenos Aires.

Fix SCR Agente de Calificación de Riesgo rated both series notes AA-(arg). These notes have been listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange (Bolsa de Comercio de Buenos Aires) and have been admitted to trading on the Mercado Abierto Electrónico and the Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos.

In this transaction, Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina) acted as placement and settlement agents, and on the other hand as organizers and co-organizers respectively.

Partner Javier Luis Magnasco led the Beccar Varela team advising the issuer.
