Benetti & Giammarino advise AlmavivA on the formation of a JV
Benetti & Giammarino Advogados advised AlmavivA Group, an Italian group which is one of the largest BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) and technology services providers worldwide, on the formation of a corporate joint venture (through the incorporation of the new Brazilian company BRITA), in a cash-in transaction, alongside the Italian company Società Italiana Per Le Imprese All’Estero – SIMEST S.p.A., belonging to CDP Group (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti), a financial and industrial group for the development and promotion of Italian enterprises abroad, in order to invest on technology companies in Brazil.
The formation of BRITA presents a new opportunity for AlmavivA Group to expand its businesses in Brazil, by offering new products and services in the Brazilian technology industry, such as the recent acquisition of Magna Group (Magna Sistemas and Pyxisinfo) by AlmavivA Group, which was concluded by BRITA.
