Benetti & Giammarino on Beretta acquisition by Gonzalez Group

Benetti & Giammarino Advogados advised Gonzalez Group, one of the largest poultry processing companies in the western region of São Paulo State, on the group’s first-ever acquisition, involving the purchase of one hundred percent (100%) of Beretta Avicultura, a traditional company specialized in the production of day-old chicks and producing eggs.

The transaction was structured through the full acquisition of the poultry operation, including its day-old chick production operations, egg production, poultry breeding facilities, and related activities. It involved complex corporate restructuring operations with a prior reorganization which permitted the contribution of all assets of Beretta Avicultura into the consolidated structure that was ultimately divested.

Closing of the transaction occurred on January 5th, 2026. Following closing, the company adopted the corporate name “Gonzalez Avicultura”, maintaining operational continuity with the replacement of management and the appointment of new administrators. This transaction represents a significant strategic step for Gonzalez Group’s consolidation of agro-industrial operations.
