Bichara Advogados celebrates 20 years with social action
Program foresees the participation of the firm in up to eight social projects, in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, with an investment of up to R$ 580 thousand, and focused on minorities
Bichara Advogados focused on solidarity to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Taking advantage of the date, the firm launched a social action in the form of a public call for proposals.
According to the firm’s founding partner Luiz Gustavo Bichara (pictured), the action is one that reflects the commitment that the law firm has with society, education, and solidarity. “It is part of our culture to encourage the practice of solidary law, through the provision of voluntary and free legal services,” he says.
The goal is to support up to eight social projects in the metropolitan regions of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Registration will be free of charge and can be carried out between March 15th and May 15th.
The projects will be evaluated according to specific criteria provided in the document focused on initiatives aimed at minority groups. Between the months of March and August, R$ 420,000 in financial resources and R$160,000 in pro bono legal counsel hours will be allocated.
