BLP Costa Rica hires former ambassador to Mexico
BLP Legal in Costa Rica has hired Gabriela Jiménez as special counsel, and who served as the country’s ambassador to Mexico from 2010-14.
Prior to that role, Jiménez (pictured) served as a counsellor minister at the Costa Rican embassy in Paris, and as chief of protocol to then Costa Rican President Oscar Arias Sánchez from 2006-10.
“Gabriela’s addition to BLP Legal strengthens the firm’s international capabilities, and her role will be to manage business opportunities between Mexico and Central America, as well as between Mexico and BLP’s representative office in Madrid,” the firm said.
