BMA advise Supley on the acquisition of 50% of Dr. Peanut
BMA advised Supley Laboratório de Alimentos e Suplementos Nutricionais, one of the main hubs for health and performance brands in Latin America, with revenues surpassing R$ 1 billion, on the negotiation and execution of an agreement aiming at the acquisition of shares representing 50% of the share capital of Body Food Fabricantes de Alimentos Saudáveis (Dr. Peanut), a company that owns one of the leading brands of peanut butter and healthy snacks in Brazil; and the process of submitting such transaction to CADE.
With the consummation of the transaction, Supley will hold 100% of the share capital of Dr. Peanut. This important move, in line with Supley’s strategies to innovate with new healthy products, aims to strengthen its brand and explore growth opportunities in the international market.
