BMA advises Iochpe-Maxion on BRL 400m debentures
BMA advised Iochpe-Maxion in its 17th issuance of simple debentures, in the total amount of BRL 400 million. The unsecured debentures were offered through public distribution under the CVM 160.
The proceeds raised by Iochpe-Maxion through the issuance will be used to re-profile the company’s consolidated financial liabilities. Itaú BBA Assessoria Financeira acted as sole coordinator of the offering.
BMA’s involvement covered the discussion, negotiation and formalization of the full set of transaction documents, including the company’s corporate approvals, the debentures’ indenture, the distribution agreement, the legal opinion and the remaining offering documents, through to settlement.
The BMA team advising Iochpe-Maxion was led by partner Conrado de Castro Stievani (pictured), supported by associates Alexandre Roscoe Lindenberg, Juliana Azem Turini, Mila Franco Cunha and Rafael Fogel Klarnet.
