BMA Advogados announces three new partners

BMA Advogados has announced the promotion of three lawyers to partners of the firm as of January 1, 2023. Felipe Bon (pictured left), from the Corporate, M&A, and Public Companies areas, and Guilherme Morgulis (pictured center), from the Antitrust area, and Rodrigo Mariani (pictured right), from the Corporate, M&A, and Oil&Gas areas, have joined the firm.)

Felipe Bon acts in legal matters covering transactions involving corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and joint ventures, in addition to commercial contracts, debt restructurings, advisory in several corporate disputes, as well as advisory to publicly-held companies in their relations with the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission.

Guilherme Morgulis has extensive experience in proceedings for approval of national and international transactions, investigations of anticompetitive conducts and negotiation of administrative agreements before the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE). He also assists clients in reviewing the compliance of commercial practices with competition legislation and in the development and implementation of competition compliance programs.

Rodrigo Mariani has extensive knowledge in corporate restructuring and M&A transactions, and negotiations between domestic and foreign companies, mainly in the oil and gas, oilfield services and biofuels, telecommunications, business process outsourcing, pharmaceutical and real estate development sectors. Rodrigo assists clients in negotiating and drafting contracts on issues such as joint ventures, consortiums and service agreements, and prepares corporate documentation such as contracts and bylaws
