BMA assists Ultracargo in the acquisition of OPLA

BMA assisted Ultracargo Logística in the acquisition of 50% of Terminal de Combustíveis de Paulínia (OPLA), operator of an ethanol terminal, from Copersucar.

The transaction results in the withdrawal of Copersucar from the business, and Ultracargo Logísitca becoming a shareholder in the company, together with BP Biofuels Brazil Investments, holder of the remaining 50% in the company.

The base price was R$237.5 million, which may be adjusted based on cash, debt, working capital and CAPEX metrics. The transaction is subject to antitrust approval (CADE).
