Bomchil and Bruchou advise on extension of syndicated loan to CGC
Bomchil has advised Compañía General de Combustibles (CGC), and Bruchou & Funes de Rioja advised the banks, on the extension of an existing syndicated loan, dated 11 April 2023, for an additional amount of US$ 88,000,000, increasing the total amount to USD $184,000,000.
The loan, which will bear interest at a nominal 7.50% per annum, will be repayable in five equal and consecutive quarterly instalments payable on or after 11 October 2025.
Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina), Banco Santander Argentina, Citibank (Argentina Branch), Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires, Banco de Valores, Nuevo Banco de Santa Fe and Banco de Santa Cruz.
CGC is a leading independent energy company in Argentina that is engaged, on its own and through its subsidiaries, in the development, exploration and production of oil and gas and, to a lesser extent, liquefied petroleum gas. It has a significant portfolio of exploration or production areas in various basins in Argentina, with its main operation located in the province of Santa Cruz.
