Botelho Advogados has expanded its activities in São Paulo in the areas of Litigation and Arbitration and Data Protection and Intellectual Property with the arrival of new partner Felipe Volpini

Felipe will coordinate the firm’s dispute resolution practice, including judicial and administrative claims, arbitration, alternative dispute resolution methods, business recovery, consumer law, and product liability. In addition, he will coordinate the Data Protection and Intellectual Property department.

Felipe has joined the firm to expand and consolidate these areas, adding all his expertise acquired in 15 years of experience, having worked in some of the most important law firms in São Paulo and Brazil, such as Demarest, Lobo de Rizzo and Wald Advogados.

The new partner will divide his activities between the São Paulo and Belo Horizonte offices. In addition, he will act nationwide and in international transactions and disputes with the support of Botelho Advogados network of national correspondents and international strategic partners.

Felipe has extensive experience in Domestic and International Arbitration and Litigation, as well as in the Advisory area, having acted in some of the major cases in Brazil involving corporate, contractual, agricultural, infrastructure, real estate, corporate restructuring, intellectual property and product liability issues.
Among the main companies Felipe has assisted are major players in important economic sectors, especially agribusiness, infrastructure, energy, transportation, automotive, life sciences, electronics, and retail.

Felipe Neiva Volpini, 37, graduated in Law from UFMG and in International Relations from PUC/MG. His master’s degree (LL.M.) was completed International Economic Law and Policy (IELPO at the University of Barcelona, Spain. He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association and the Portuguese Bar Association. He handles cases in Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian and French.
