Bratax expands with new partners and tax transactions team
Bratax – Brazuna, Ruschmann e Soriano Sociedade de Advogados announced two new partners, Renata Amarante Bardella (pictured left) and Mario Jabur Neto (pictured right), and a new team focused on tax transactions and fiscal compliance.
Renata Amarante Bardella holds both an LL.M and a specialist degree in Tax Law from FGV Law SP and is a Law graduate from PUC-SP. Mrs. Bardella has almost two decades of experience in customs and indirect taxation matters, having tenured in two of the Big Four, and in specialist firms and North American and European multinationals.
Mario Jabur Neto, a graduate from PUC-Campinas, is a specialist in tax and civil procedure with specializations at Mackenzie and Escola Paulista de Direito (Sao Paulo Law School). His nearly twenty years of experience include nine at Bratax, where he is now responsible for managing relevant portfolios of strategic and highly complex lawsuits.
Renata Bardella brings with her associate Mariana de Souza Martins, who worked with her in tax departments of multinationals in the agro, chemical, pharmaceutical sectors. Mrs. Martins is experienced in tax compliance and in direct tax consulting practice.
Additionally, Mônica Biasoli Jorge Gomes will join Bratax into a newly formed team specializing in tax transactions and tax compliance, under the coordination of the founding partners, contributing her experience accumulated with working in various agreements with tax authorities since the advent of the general transaction law, and leveraging her training in the banking and retail sectors.
As a result, the team now comprises nineteen lawyers dedicated to personalized tax law and a diverse staff of partners, also including the main partners, Katia Soriano de Oliveira Mihara and Sérgio Pin Junior, and the founding partners, Ciro Cesar Soriano de Oliveira, Cristiano Frederico Ruschmann and José Luis Ribeiro Brazuna.
