Brazil’s GVBG acts for Kikkoman in Azuma Kirin buyout

Brazilian law firm Gentil Monteiro Vicentini Beringhs Gil (GVBG) has advised Japanese food producer Kikkoman on its acquisition of Brazilian sake producer Azuma Kirin.

The value of the deal value was not disclosed.

GVBG’s team comprised corporate and M&A partner Fernando Gentil Monteiro (pictured), dispute resolution and anti-trust partner Pedro Conde Elias Vicentini, tax partner Rodrigo Gomes CArdim de Gil and corporate and M&A associate Victor Dalgedan de Rossi.
