Brazil’s Souza, Mello e Torres adds new partner
Sergio Laclau has been named a new partner at Brazilian law firm Souza, Mello e Torres, and who arrives at the firm to reinforce the areas of corporate dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration.
A law graduate from UERJ and with a master’s degree from the same university, Laclau is an experienced professional having forged a prominent career in large corporate offices in Brazil, and arrives with the challenge of helping to build another big brand in the Brazilian legal market, the São Paulo-based firm said.
“I have a diversified practice that complements efficient and agile offices such as Souza, Mello e Torres, and I am very happy to have this opportunity to work in a new structure that offers quality services to its customers and that will allow me to conduct business and define strategies for action,” Laclau said.
