Brazilian and international firms advised on loan to CAF

Silveiro Advogados advised the borrower Banco Cooperativo Sicredi and Dias Carneiro Advogados and Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP advised Corporación Andina de Fomento (CAF) as main lender alongside Japan International Cooperation Agency in a USD 297,000,000.00 AB Loan.

BNP Paribas and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation also participated in the deal as joint social loan coordinators.

The amount will be allocated to finance micro, small, and medium enterprises, both urban and rural, in municipalities with a Human Development Index (HDI) below the national average, and operations related to the female entrepreneurship incentive program, thereby promoting business development, equality, and financial inclusion.
